Mediation

Picture
Conflict is a natural part of life. Ideally, we can work out our issues with others directly and before conflict escalates. But sometimes it is really difficult to have a conversation with another who is causing you stress and conflict; when it feels like you are prevented from meeting your needs and goals.  A mediator provides all parties the opportunity to confidentially talk about the issues, be part of the process and have a say over the outcome of a mediation session. Your mediator will hold the space for negotiation while maintaining confidentiality, neutrality and self determination. Mediation consistently demonstrates its power to strengthen relationships and focus on creating a better future.

Conflict Coaching

Picture
Communication is both an art and a skill and not everyone is good at it. A conflict coach works one-on-one with you to help you work through a specific conflict situation. Examples include addressing deficiencies in feedback regarding your communication style, feeling stuck in a conflict cycle and unable to reach a resolution, and when you have a conflict with another but they are not willing (or you are not ready) to have the conversation. Sometimes leaders who are seen as "bullies" are referred to a conflict coach to address behaviors that are perceived as negative by others. The process is confidential and involves as many sessions as you are willing to commit to in order to see the change you are seeking.
